AgeRelief Shoulder Brace Reviews: Scam or Legit?

I have been using the AgeRelief™ Shoulder Brace daily for around 2 weeks. It feels like it is helping with my pain and supporting my shoulder the way it needs to be supported. Comfortable. Smelled a little plasticky at first but it quickly went away.

As an athletic trainer I have bought this brace a few times! It gives a good amount of compression as well as support. My athletes like that they still had motion but they felt like they were still getting enough stability with the brace

I got a shoulder injury at work back in September, now back at work and wear this while working to protect my shoulder, it feels good and comfortable!❤️🙂

AgeRelief™ Shoulder Brace is very good at reminding me not to overuse that arm. I highly recommend it, but it’s not something I can wear to bed, even though it says you can, it’s not comfortable for sleeping.

Tricky to put on at first but easy after that. Strap that goes across chest gets uncomfortable under Rm.

Instructions weren’t helpful at all…took a while to figure it out…then I realized it was sent assembled to go on left shoulder and I needed it for the right one. Once I got through the initial confusion, I put it on and was quite pleased with how it felt. It definitely helped to reduce pain from the shoulder…..tried it for sleep and it was helpful there as well. Works nicely to stabilize shoulder joint ! Recommeded !!

I am a CNA, and was injured on the job 6mos. ago. I felt a little anxious heading back to work after getting a pinched nerve in my neck which extended down through my shoulder causing swelling to my first rib. I am better but still under rehabilitation. I decided to purchase my shoulder support to give myself some comfort. I received better than that. Lifting 50lbs. and more continually through my shift wearing my support gave me no pain and when I got home and took it off, it was as though I didn’t do any lifting. Got this for my uncle (clothes’ size M) who had a shoulder injury due to the fall. He loves that the brace is easy to adjust and that it fits him well. It does not hurt or cause discomfort even when being worn during the whole day. The quality of the material is good and seems to be durable.

So far it’s working great. Only wore it for 1 day at work. I’m a diesel mechanic and road tech. Changing lifting 180# tires isn’t easy with a bum arm. It didn’t hurt all day. Not even after 10 road call tire changes!

It is vital to your health to feel your body else you may end up placing your injury into a bigger injury due to the improper position. I would suggest going with a basic brace first known as an arm sling. Figure out where comfort is, then go explore the world of possibilities in case one day a doctor can no longer find it possible to call themselves a doctor due to the money take over of everyone’s jobs to the extent that no one can remember why they went to school or work aside from slavery. But my adventure started in the Urgent Care as I couldn’t afford to fight or consult a doctor over every little bump, bruise, or moments where someone better be observing else we could lose out on the only moment for intervention due to the costs, inaccessibility, and in-affordability of a business branch that doesn’t know what saving lives means compared to quality of life. I watched the shows growing up (North) and I must say that maybe the south knows more than we do, because life can be a prison especially as a homeless who used to be able to make a home out of a pile of sticks but is now required to marry the lot closest to Walmart as no one should afford cars. Basically we had a reverse stop from the Flower Children to Instant Poverty all because the dollar became a cancer that locked us into a shorter-shortest life-death cycle of the human race while historical written records indicate that we have the potential of living to 300 years and more. I’m not so sure we should bother with the news either… They have been warmongering us since one station went into death com3 and isn’t even military… they called it the war on terror, but they were the terror and the war was on us… The Brace is fine, amazing considering the natural restriction levels, but the complications of ensuring the arm is set properly for proper setting-heal makes this device better for a professional fitting with return visits for alternative alterations. I would have to wear a arm sling and sleep with it because I could only put it on once a day, but I gotta constantly take it off. It’s an old eighth grade volleyball injury that I acquired alongside of wrestling with boys— athletes break bodies and I’m a reservist who lost their rights at childhood thanks to the glorious ‘countries of freedom’ that removed mine… there’s no ‘starting age’ for civilian recognition, but Texas keeps arguing that the beginning is the point of conception else there could be no life… But I would rather watch a movie of Sarah Palin being the most amazing woman she is, as she lost a child and didn’t know how to overcome the gut wrenching heartbreak. If the money implosion kitchen gets too hot… we could become homeless in Alaska— better than allowing federal funding to supply our children for staff life support. Let’s not make the child suffer… let ourselves suffer by living in the wilds of Alaska… *wink* Fare The Well

The shoulder support alleviates the pain. When l wear it l can do tasks like raking leaves, etc. Without it l could not do my normal ” duties”. It is comfortable to wear, there’s enough stretch to allow for normal motions. Definitely worth the money.

Putting it on, I couldn’t really tell if it was working, but after sitting with it I definitely could notice my shoulder not rotating internally and causing me pain while working at my desk, which was exactly what I wanted. Easy to put on and take off. Good product

Purchases AgeRelief™ Shoulder Brace as for several weeks I was having right sided shoulder pain with abduction and external rotation and I just needed support of my should and this fit the bill nicely. It was light weight and comfortable and not super bulky. Recommend!

Product fit as expected and was made of good quality materials.

This product supersedes an older neoprene only support that I had. That one was non-adjustable, and too tight, so I had to unpick part of the seam under the arm area to avoid pinching. Adjustable is much better.

I got this because I move furniture around a lot, I also lift and carry a lot during the week. This has helped with the shoulder pain that I get from just moving. It is very comfortable to wear and helps keep my shoulder where it needs to be but still allows me to move freely and do what I need to do.I like that it is adjustable and that when it is latched it stays in place. Yes it has moved but that is when I was lifting or moving heavier things and I would hit or touch the strap.If you have shoulder pain this is great to have and use. AgeRelief™ Shoulder Brace is very supportive, you need to get help the first time you put it on for the adjustments of the straps, unless your used to this procedure. There is no way to get an ice pack in the arm sleeve unless it’s round.

Kinda bulky fits nice and tight. I’m 5’6” 145 and if you’re in pain you will need help putting it on. Not discreet but who cares when your shoulder is hurting.

I got this brace two weeks ago and I am more than happy to use it. It supports well and doesn’t slide on the side of the chest. I would recommend it to wear over a shirt. The size fits well for me. The listing has video instructions, so it helps you wear it yourself. Really appreciate it!

I’ve had issues with my shoulders for the longest and even got surgery on my right rotator cuff. Using this helped relieve some of the stress on my shoulders and, along with icing and ibuprofen, a lot of the discomfort has gone away. With injuries like this, it’ll never FULLY go away, but there are a few things you can do to alleviate the majority of the pain and discomfort. Would recommend along with the routine I mentioned earlier.

excellent for promoting proper postural alignment of your torso/spinal support, and that’s really all i use it for after having a shoulder injury and eventually not needing it anymore.during treatment i realized how i was standing so straight w my shoulders squared and chest out, so i wear it for a few hours. like any brace, they’re temp fixes and shouldn’t be used chronically because of concerns of muscles weakening, etc.i’m not an orthopedic surgeon, so im not trying to give a lesson. im just speaking out of my specific experience w this specific product.

While out walking my dog on leash it thundered really loud and she snatched me really hard. My shoulder has hurt since. At night, while laying in bed my shoulder hurts really bad. I’m a side sleeper and it feels like my shoulder needs to be held back. If I push back on my shoulder it relieves some of the pain. I had a shoulder injury back in 2018 where one of my muscles in my rotator cuff was completely severed because of my injury.Not wanting to have expensive surgery that maybe will help and not guaranteed.Im forced to have terrible pain almost every day of my life. I cannot lift my right arm above my shoulder because it instantly can fall back because no support. I get numbness all the time when using or doing everyday activities even when below my head. Writing with pen has been a difficult challenge as well.Ive got shots, used kinetic tape and everything in-between and still only so-so.Ever since I received this shoulder brace. My shoulder has been alot better. Ive slept with it on, so when I wake up I dont have numbness. It has helped me get a feeling of comfort back. At times I even feel like my shoulder is normal when I wear it all day, I guess my body has a little healing going on as well.I know nothing besides surgery maybe will fix my rotator cuff pain and everything along with it.Since I got this brace, I can truly say this has been by far the best option ive ever had …..compared to shots in the shoulder, tape and other arm braces..One thing is that when I wear it over clothes or under. I had shoulder surgery about 10 years ago, and from time to time, I struggle with pain. Things I like about this boulder brace: It stabilizes the shoulder well. It’s incredibly adjustable, and the Velcro is very strong. The material is very sturdy and is made well. Things I don’t like: No instructions, and a bit difficult to first get adjusted. Not a deal breaker, great brace and affordable!

I play volleyball few times a week and sometimes feel pain on my right shoulder. I got this to have some pain relief. It does the job well by applying a small compression and provide some stability to my shoulder. I also use it with a small ice pack, to cool down my shoulder after each game to reduce inflammation. The material is good and skin friendly. Overall I am happy with it.

Because this could be considered a medical device, I’ll start with a disclosure: I’m not a medical doctor. What follows is based on my personal experience. If you need medical advice for any reason, consult with a doctor or other qualified medical professional.Five years ago, I tore my rotator and decided on physical therapy instead of surgery. My shoulder recovered and was fine until I re-injured it about two months ago. I’ve been using homemade braces and pressure wraps to keep the pain manageable – especially when in the gym. But they provided very limited relief.When I saw this brace, I was skeptical. I wasn’t sure it would provide enough pressure to reach the deeper part of the injured muscle. As it turns out, this brace can give some real relief and provide enough support to help the muscle heal faster (based on my experience).This brace is well-made and fits a wide variety of body sizes. There is a main strap that goes around the chest that fastens with Velcro, plus another strap that tightens around the upper arm that holds everything in place.There is a permanently attached “pocket” that can be adjusted from two positions – and this is the key to getting the appropriate amount of pressure you need on the shoulder. Since I needed a lot of pressure, I placed a tennis ball inside this pocket, then pulled the pocket straps tight. I can move the ball around to place pressure on the exact spot. The result is that I can do more weight and more reps in the gym with less pain. (This will make more sense if you look at the pictures – the sliver of green showing through is the tennis ball.) There’s a good chance you’ll find the brace will provide sufficient pressure without the need to place anything inside the “pocket,” but if you need to increase it, you can do with a tennis ball.It’s easy to put on, and except for the part that covers the shoulder, doesn’t show under clothing. It’s a great way to reduce the pain associated with a shoulder injury. If you have a similar injury, I highly recommend it!

I think this type of medical device is difficult to do well because the shoulder involves so many curves and so much movement. The challenge of this one is compounded since I assume from the seller photos that it is designed to be worn while actively using the shoulder. After viewing the weightlifting photo, I thought I might try this to help me with a lingering shoulder issue from tennis. After trying it, I may still consider using it on the court, but I think I will be better off with kinesthetic tape.This sling has some decent options for adjustment. I ended up making it pretty tight around my bicep to help it stay in place. The chest strap tends to ride up, and it chaffs a bit, especially in the armpits. It might actually work better with a compression shirt underneath, but I haven’t tried that.I feel like the sample in the photos is 1”-2” longer on the bicep than the one I received, but maybe that’s a trick of my eyes.Overall, even though I think it could be improved, I consider this sling a pretty good product.

Very easy to self apply and provides stability and pain relief.

Worked so well for this 63 year old that I loaned it to my 16 year old grand daughter who is a softball player. She wouldn’t give it back, I had to order another one for me. High marks from a wide age gap!

If you are quite muscular or a big guy, it can feel tight. You will be pushing the maximum length on the Velcro. Fortunately, I had just enough to keep it stable but not too tight. I found that you might want to readjust it for comfort once or twice a day if you are still moving with it on. It is breathable, but it did get a little smelly after sweating in it for days. This is a good aide for keeping your shoulder from moving the way it shouldn’t while still being able to mostly move how you need. It’s not an end-all-be-all if you are injured though. I still had to take inflammation, pain reducers, and do physical therapy.

My shoulder is permanently messed up so I am so grateful to have this to wear when it really flares up.
